Have you ever bought a smoothie where they put in all the delicious fruits, and they give you the option to go for wheatgrass or other powders like that. In the end, all taste like grass or feeding on the grain field.
The taste is ruining all the health benefits of what each is supposed to be causing. Or maybe we are so used to thinking if something tastes good, it can not be that healthy.
Well, this Blackberry and Mango Smoothie with a twist has all the benefits but none of that grassy taste.
This smoothie is the ultimate vitamin C boost with fruits like mangoes, oranges, and blackberries. These also provide vitamin A and bursts with antioxidants.
Get ready! The twist is: it also has parsley, which is very rich in vitamin A C and K.
Vitamin A is essential to maintain immunity and eye health. Vitamin K supports bone and heart health.
Finally, not many people know that parsley is also packed with vitamin C, which is also beneficial for heart health and our immune system.
So this additional parsley is definitely giving us an extra boost, and as a bonus, it really complements the other fruit flavours.
I used frozen fruits, fresh parsley and extra pulp orange juice, which after blending giving a sorbet like Smoothie.
Have it fresh and enjoy this guilt free Smoothie!
Ingredients for two small or one large glass
1 cup of Frozen blackberry
1 cup of Frozen mango
