You're aware of my love for smoothies! As I like to say, a smoothie a day keeps the doctor away, haha.
Naturally, this holds true only if the smoothie is nutritious and not loaded with sugar. While this Apple, Mango and Strawberry Smoothie Recipe is sweet, it contains little sugar and is rich in antioxidants. Check out some advantages of mangoes and apples below.

Strawberries are high in vitamin C and contain other antioxidants. These substances, known as flavonoids, are excellent for combating aging by preventing the breakdown of collagen. Collagen maintains skin elasticity and prevents wrinkles, helping us stay youthful. Antioxidants also possess anti-cancer properties, reducing the risk of developing certain cancers like colon and breast cancer. Additionally, these substances are crucial for maintaining a healthy heart and blood vessels. Find out more here.
While these fruits offer significant benefits, they can also be harmful depending on the variety. My primary worry is the pesticides applied, since apples and strawberries are part of the dirty dozen list, indicating they are heavily contaminated with pesticides. Strawberries, in particular, rank as the worst on this list. Have a look here.
Therefore, make sure to purchase organic strawberries and apples, and since many benefits are found in the apple's skin, keep it on!

1/2 mango, peeled and cubed
